Fragmentation Grenade is a splash-damage Gear from the Rage Resource Type. Not only does it give range 2 to the attached Armada, it also deals damage to adjacent Armada when the attached Armada destroys it's target. Furthermore, if the attached Armada is destroyed, you can pay two additional to deal damage to an adjacent Armada, perhaps even the one that destroyed the Armada in the first place. This your opponent from destroying any Armada with Fragmentation Grenade attached to it as long as you keep the resources open. But simultaneously, the attached Armada becomes more of a threat with the increased range and splash damage. Your opponent will have a touch choice choosing how to deal with this Gear.
