Today we have another dual-Resource card, and this time it’s a Gear! Vindarian Power Gauntlets are Ely’s weapon of choice in combat, so of course they match her Resource types: Antillium Particle and Genetic Code. The Gauntlets give the attached Armada +3/+1 and also grant the Armada Push. An Armada with Push can shift an attacked Armada one space in the direction of the attack. One damage is added if the Armada can’t move due to an Armada already occupying the space. Furthermore, if you Push an Armada to the edge of the Battleground, it destroys the Armada! As you can see, Push is an incredibly powerful trait. Couple that with Ely’s ability to grab this Gear from the discard pile, and Vindarian Power Gauntlets are staple in any Ely deck.
